Infuriated Husband Cut OAP’s Head With Cutlass For Allegedly Having Affair With His Wife

An On Air Personality (OAP) with Faaji FM, an affiliate of Africa Independent Television , Mr Soji Omotayo, was attacked with a machete by a jealous husband due to allegations of having an affair with his wife.

The irate husband, Kunle (surname covert) according to Omotayo who expresses dissatisfaction however attacked him recently after exerting efforts to lure him to his house at Sango, based on a publicity job he has secured for him. And that due to their comradeship, he did not decline

His words: “I was surprised by the attack because Kunle and i had been doing business together for years. I actually went there with my Personal Assistant got to Kunle’s house around 8am and called him on the phone that they were already at his gate, but I left my PA in the car and went to meet my supposed benefactor.”

However, based on their relationship, which was cordial before the incident, he exchanged pleasantries with Kunle’s wife and kids. And that afterwards, Kunle asked his wife and daughter to excuse them. More so, the culprit deluded him to call the wife that he would love to say hello to them. He added that he called the wife without negative impression, but surprisingly to him the bone of contention changed when he told the wife that he has been in a romance relationship with his wife, and that he intentionally invited him just to kill him

His Words:” I was ushered into his living room. When I entered, I met his daughter and wife; they greeted me and left the living room. I noticed that he locked the door, but did not remove the key from the keyhole. The man then asked me if my wife was in Nigeria and I said yes. He told me to call her that he just wanted to say hello to her. What shocked me most was that after he collected the phone from me, he told my wife he purposely invited me to his house just to kill me. He told my wife that I was dating his wife. And before i knew what was happening, Kunle had pocketed my phone and brought out a sharp machete from his trousers”

Omotayo went further to narrate how Kunle allegedly inflicted cuts on his head, arm, stomach. And that he screamed for help, and pushed him away in order to access the door. In addition, when he ran out of the house, he met Kunle’s wife and his PA raising alarm in order to get the attention of their neighbours.
