Former EFCC boss, Waziri bereaved; loses 39-year-old daughter
A Former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mrs. Farida Waziri has lost one of her daughters.
The deceased, Mrs. Jackie Ifidon-Ola, (nee Waziri) was said to have died at an Abuja hospital in the early hours of Sunday after battling an undisclosed ailment.
A source close to the family told Punch that the late Ifidon-ola was 39 years old and would be buried in Abuja on Saturday.
She is survived by her husband, two kids and her parents, Senator Ajuji Waziri and Mrs. Farida Waziri.
Ade Williams, Waziri’s publicist who confirmed the development said, “Since the incident happened, highly placed Nigerian leaders have been visiting the Waziri family to console them in their Abuja home.”
