assure you that by October 30, 2015,
Abia State workers would not be owed a penny in arrears of salary. All salary
arrears would have been cleared. More so, Abia State has not collected the
bailout funds from the Federal Government. As soon as the bailout funds get to
the State treasury, the payment of salary arrears will be done without delay”
In the same vein, the governor who is assiduous, and has exerted arduous towards the renovation and outright reconstruction of some of impassable roads in the state, has promised to have commenced the construction of the following roads: Arochukwu Road, Aba/Port Harcourt road, Ohanku road in the next 100 days.
Concluding, Dr Okezie’s
ferocious desire in engaging the youths of Abia state was glaring through his
last Tuesday’s trip to USA and Turkey in order to enter somewhat Memorandum Of
Understanding (MOU) with foreign investors, such that would foster development in the state. He added that
he has plans aloof to create sustainable jobs through Education for Employment
E4E programme; a scheme that would guarantee sustainable jobs with needed
