If God has the power to give and retain , the same God has
the power to remove and replace, then; call him whatever name you like- a
dictator, an illiterate, Mr go-slow, half-dead man, Boko Haram et al same God
must have indeed answered Buhari's parents fervent prayer 73years ago for a
promising celebrated child. He has directed the angels with an unseen hand with
a midas touch just as He did to Mandela of South-Africa to bring President
Muhammadu Buhari into the world and made him the converted democrat president
of Nigeria after four shot at presidency.
A man whose epithets aptly describe as quintessential,
unassuming, defender, advocate of the downtrodden, master strategist and a man
who never break characters. Then, we must not forget the aphorism which says
"if man runs with men, it is called a race, but when he runs with God, it
is called Grace. May our grace be sufficient!
There was indeed tension, pandemonium prior to the election
that ushered him in, a man whose fate plays a critical role in his ascension to
the president once again. With his doggedness, this credence became rationale
that in life, one must be determined not desperate; because there is a difference:
Failure will teach you lessons success cannot, but learn the lesson anyways.
PMB's overwhelming victory has eventually crystallised into re-birth
of PHCN, EFCC, NNPC, ICPC, CCB ecetera to mention just few. Since he assumed,
he has took many giant step to ensure smooth running of major sector especially
the petroleum, were refineries shut down for long are now functioning,
appointments of courageous service chiefs to combat and check Boko Haram menace
bedeviling the country. It is an understatement to call him the apocalypse
democrat elected president of Nigeria.
Since inception of his declaration to run for the president,
he never hide his intention to demonstrate that having the right leader with
the blessed resources, the country can be great for ever. Just has he has been
affecting every sector slow but steady with his exceptionally novel caring hearts
principle for the country.
Suffice to say, as a Muslim he must have learn that a man's
good deeds are written in water, his bad deeds in brass-so a leader is only as
good as his previous achievement. He indeed carefully studied what has been the
militating factors against good governance and enjoyment of dividends of democracy.
He has acted swiftly with much ado on a just cause. People gradually are
applauding Buhari's mania for the drastic change experiencing in the country
now. What else do they expect from a man who forte is integrity, passion and
compassion.
It is the spirit of determination of his government that
made him factor of the movement, his War Against Indiscipline (WAI) during the
military era and corruption free also made him the public figure and cynosure
of the world at the moment. A man whose integrity knows no bound and unmatched
among his peers, his expediency as a leader is based on producing more prudent
leaders having elected from an opposition party and now in a higher position at
a ruling party.
He is no doubt the centre of discussion and attraction
beyond every national and international discussion. Here is a man destiny has
placed unlimited by his imagination. A president who never went to Polytechnic
to have HND, University to have BSc. but a product of NDA, yet the capability
of his mentality supersedes the totality of Professors in their conformity. He
has also proved that leadership is not about title, sudden riches but about
positive action pointing to the aphorism which says "a leader is a dealer
in hope, a designer, a steward and a teacher.
More importantly, his uniqueness from attempting to serve
his country despite futile attempts before was inevitable but a push for an unstoppable
will to a comeback and accountability defines him. Beyond bragging right,
Buhari will go down in history as the most celebrated, envied, adored president
that ever sat on the seat of presidency in Nigeria.
