Five children have been reportedly kidnapped in Gwalbanya village of Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
It was gathered that the children were kidnapped yesterday morning. The matter had been reported at Gwamau Divisional police station in Toro council. daily post
An eyewitness told newsmen in Bauch that, “the gunmen stormed the village yesterday morning and escaped with the children. When they left, intensive search was conducted to know if they hid them somewhere in the village but we could not find them.”
The source said that the abductors had demanded for a ransom of N10 million from the parents of the children before they could release them.
Meanwhile, the Bauchi State Police spokesman, Haruna Mohammed was yet to react to the news at the moment.
